The Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC) was established in New York City in 1994 to promote greater recognition of Asian American businesses’ contributions to the general economy.  AABDC encourages Asian American businesses to be more actively involved in issues and policies that directly affect them at the federal, state and city levels and provides capacity-building assistance to business entities that enables them to compete in the mainstream marketplace and expand business opportunities.

They will be holding an Asian American Business Roundtable and its inaugural Summit on January 29 – 30, 2016 at The Venetian.

The Asian American Business Roundtable (AABR) was created as a think-tank entity of the Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC). It is intended to leverage the collective knowledge, experience and networks of recognized industry leaders – many identified over the past 14 years as “Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business” honorees – to provide a unique and unprecedented source of corporate business intelligence.

The mission of the Asian American Business Roundtable is to provide opportunities to inform and connect; build a collective message and voice; inspire continued successful business opportunities and to drive the development of groundbreaking solutions for social good. Objectives are to:

-Increase the visibility and presence of Asian Americans in the US business arena
-Address national and global business challenges of the 21st Century
-Assist global corporations seeking to expand their market presence in Asia
-Assist Asia-based entities seeking to develop partnerships with US companies
-Promote an understanding of game changer techniques that will serve to encourage continued new idea development and leadership in innovation through the Asian American business community
-Support social and philanthropic endeavors within our community as well as to address community issues integral to the well-being of a multicultural society
