Lately I’ve been spending time watching Wong Fu Productions videos on YouTube. I didn’t realize how amazing their works were, and how they really showcase Asian Americans outside of mainstream media as normal people–not nerdy, kung fu fighting, quiet individuals that we all know too well.

Although Wong Fu creates music videos and comedy series, it is best known for its short films. Today the guys (Phil, Ted, and Wes) released a teaser trailer for their new short Somewhere Like This, inspired by an event in Wes’ life, and written by him as well.
